La Cigale Estate was built in 2020 and was designed to reflect the family's long history in the Seychelles. Sustainably harvested and handcrafted colonial-style furniture, handpicked by the owners on their travels around the world, reflects the architectural design of the property, while oil-soaked recycled teakwood from Indonesia gives the floors their timeless shine. Closer to home, wood from a wizened Indian almond tree, known locally as badamier, was salvaged during construction, and repurposed for the bathroom vanity counters, while two takamaka trees from the Estate’s 4.5 acres have been ‘reborn’ among the décor in the generously proportioned living room. A grandiose staircase and elevator allow guests easy access to all three floors.

Set in our lush tropical gardens, The Estate also includes four secluded garden pool suites, each with private living spaces, indoor-outdoor bathrooms and crystalline plunge pools. Our garden pool suites offer privacy and seclusion and can be used as guest accommodation for larger groups or for private staff.

Within the estate, guests can enjoy extensive leisure and wellness facilities including a floodlit tennis court, pickleball, pétanque, a beautiful swimming pool with sun-drenched terraces, a shallow children’s pool, and a fully equipped Technogym. Unlimited yoga, Pilates, and guided meditation sessions can be arranged to further elevate the holistic experience.
